The school's marketing department is strong in research: the 20 full-time faculty have produced more than 55 journal articles in the past five years, and the department puts on more than 20 research seminars per year, according to the school’s website.

According to the Rutgers website, over one-third of MBA students graduate with a Marketing concentration. And this seems to translate into jobs: 36 percent of the 2014 MBA class are now working in marketing roles. The school also offers an MBA concentration in Marketing Research Insights and Analytics, which helps helps students use analytical tools to address business challenges.

Currently ranked as the top business school for marketing by US News, Kellogg’s well-regarded faculty produce a huge range of publications each year. Kellogg MBAs can pursue the school’s concentration in marketing and then augment it with a relevant pathway such as Data Analytics. The school hosts two related centers: the Center for Market Leadership and the Center for Global Marketing Practice.

The school's Institute for Research in Marketing publishes a wide range of marketing-related research. Thirty percent of the school’s class of 2015 went into marketing or sales.

 

University of Wisconsin, Madison - Wisconsin School of Business

The school's A.C. Nielsen Center For Marketing Research infuses the MBA specialization in Marketing with up-to-date curriculum and industry connections. According to the school, about 31 percent of the MBA class of 2015 landed jobs in marketing.
